I'm changing my tune with this one. I expect the early negativity from the first previews shown to prevail, and T3 will be lucky to out-do even the Hulk. The Hulk has it's hard-core fans, just as the Terminator has it's. That's only worth so much. Back to the buzz score. Reloaded was somewhere in the 150's before it's release. With 4 days to go, T3 has a whopping 25 points! it's gone DOWN 6 points in a day. These numbers should be going UP as the release approaches. And Legally Blond is going to steal a lot of it's thunder as well. What do people want to see? You've got your light-hearted family film fair, and you've got your hipster/cutting-edge/cool Matrix and now 28 Days Later type films. T3 looks a bit corny, and too much like a stale retread of T2. I don't think many people are amped to see this at all.
T3 has a lot to prove. Very hard to follow a great movie like T2. I think it'll be like the new Star Wars movies, where there is no way it can live up to the movies that came before it.
But, I don't think it'll suck anymore. They won't embarass the Terminator franchise with this one. It'll be a nice movie to round out the box set.

Heh, I totally disagree... There's a reason Cameron isn't directing it, and there's a reason that Hamilton would have nothing to do with it after reading the script.
So what big name stars do you have? Claire Danes, which is hardly a big draw, and Ahhnold -- who has never been very picky about what movies he'll "act" in to pick up a paycheck.
As for the director? One decent movie to his name in U-571...

I'm was gonna predict 65 millon for t3 before I knew about the sneak preview. So now I will go with 80 million for this one (Tuesday through Sunday). I could be low with this becasuse of the holiday weekend but I don't think it will get the repeat views like Matrix did. I saw Matrix 2 twice on opening weekend. Plus I think t3 is rated R which doesn't help the cause (I'm not sure about the rating). The previews looks like it's more of the same as T2, Ahnold must save John Conner from the advanced terminator, and that could turn some people off as well. I'm hoping that it will stay true to the title of the movie which is "The Rise of the Machines".

edit: actually, maybe the reason there's not a lot of responses for this articel is because there have been a lot of screening reviews posted for T3 lately, I did a search and there's like 4 more articles similar to this one. Still not a lot of enthusiasm being shown for this one, though.
One more reason I feel the hype has died out for this film. There are early reviews posted on Ain't it Cool News, but the "talk back" section for this article is really small compared to what it would be for other geek-friendly movies. People would much rather talk about the Hulk, look at how many posts there are for the Hulk review.
